Scope

This policy explains how SegmentLogic (“SegmentLogic,” “we,” or “us”) handles personal information through this prelaunch website and through authorized business communications. The full SegmentLogic platform is not yet publicly available. Additional service-specific notices or customer agreements may apply before broader service use begins.

Information we handle

This website has no account form, contact form, advertising technology, or analytics script. Our hosting provider may automatically process basic request metadata—such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date, time, and security events—to deliver and protect the site.

When business communications begin, we may handle identifiers and professional contact details, message content, delivery events, replies, preferences, and records showing the source and authority for a communication. We may also receive information that a person or an authorized business customer provides in the course of a direct relationship.

Sources and email permission

We obtain contact information directly from individuals, from a direct business relationship, or from a business customer that is authorized to provide it for a defined purpose. We do not buy, rent, or scrape email lists.

Transactional messages are limited to an existing request, relationship, or service event. We send marketing messages only after clear, explicit, and provable permission for the relevant topic. Marketing messages identify the sender and include a clear unsubscribe method. We honor withdrawal and unsubscribe requests without undue delay.

Why we use information

We use information to operate and secure the site; provide requested or authorized communications; maintain preferences, consent, and suppression records; respond to questions; investigate misuse; improve reliability; and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, we rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with law, or legitimate interests that do not override individual rights.

Service providers and disclosure

We may give limited information to service providers that support hosting, security, email delivery, and business operations. They may process it only for those services and subject to appropriate obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information or allow service providers to use it for their own advertising.

Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, contractual and legal obligations, security, and dispute resolution. Consent, unsubscribe, and suppression records may be retained as needed to ensure that a person is not contacted contrary to their preference.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or misuse. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may unsubscribe through the link in a marketing message or reply to the sender. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and to withdraw consent. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

Children

SegmentLogic is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly use the service to collect personal information from children.

Contact and updates

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to privacy@segmentlogic.com. We may update this policy as the service develops or requirements change. A material revision will carry a new effective date on this page.
